ZipCall launches 033 32 32 32 32 - free calls to the USA and Canada for UK mobile and landline users.
ZipCall offers free calls to the USA and Canada from the UK – the only requirement to use the service is that the customer has free calls to UK landlines included in his or her landline or mobile package.
We’ve been in the international calling business for 12 years and felt that now was the right time to go back to basics, creating the most simple product we could with no strings attached, and you can’t get better than free.
The aim is to kick-off with free calls to the USA and Canada, build up significant volume, and work on adding additional countries over time.
With ZipCall there is no registration, no accounts, no downloads and no internet connection is needed.
To try out ZipCall:
- Call 033 32 32 32 32
- Enter the international number (e.g 001 for USA + Local number) (do not press the call key again)
- That's it – you will be connected
The only situation in which a call made via ZipCall will not be free is if the customer does not have free minutes. In this case, the call will be charged as a standard rate landline call. OFCOM mandates that all landline and mobile providers are required to include calls to 03 numbers in free minutes*
